Get a bass buster...they are more stable and easier to get to the good spots.

There is never any storage on a small boat. I have a small boat I keep for the sand bass run and fishing local retention ponds. Just have to keep gear to a minimum. The aluminum boats that I have and now own are always v-hulls. Years ago we swamped a flat bottom on Livingston(mistake I know) and it rolled over and left us stranded out in the middle. Some people on the shore saw us a towed us to shore. We lost alot of gear. Will never have another flat bottom because of it. Good luck. Btw, the boat I have now has a Mercury 5 hp and the gas tank is self contained and man does it save space when you don't have a 6 gallon fuel tank at your feet.
