Hit Fork today from 11:00 till about 5:00. All I can say is it was a good day. Finished up with 15 or so fish in the boat with 8 of them over 5lbs. Biggest was between 7-8lbs and is NOT the one I am in the picture with. Only had 2 unders on the day with the rest being fat slot fish. I caught 3 off of beds incuding the big fish. I caught it on a Jackall G90 Swimmin' Ninja swimbait in threadfin shad. I pitched some other baits up on her and she was not remotely interested. I threw the ninja in on her and she blew it up. All 3 bed fish came on it. Also had a chance to break in the Jackall Sasuteki Craw. I caught every other fish on it and it turns out to be a killer bait. The 4" green pumpkin was killer. The claws are very buoyant so they float up. Actually tried others with no luck and later in the day I was whacking fish with boats around me but they were not catching anything. One bait finally asked what I was using. It definitely made an impression on me and the other thing I liked is the fact i caught 4-5 fish on each one. They are durable too. I oncluded them in the pix so you can see their battle scars. grin Most fish came 2-6ft and once I figured out what they were holding on to stage it was easier to get bit. I saw lots of dinks on beds but I purposely went after the big fish today. I just had to fish slow and thorough and the bites came. Can't complain at all when my best 5 goes over 30lbs. Here are a few pix but bear with me as I was solo and did not get one with every fish. thumb

Mark, does the swimbait sink and sit nose down??? Congrats on a great day on the lake. Pretty cool to figure out a pattern like that.

When you stop it on a bed it sits nose down and stands up like its rooting through the nest. The tail will actually move quite a bit when you shake it as it sits on the bed. They can't stand it. It also has great action when used as a regular swimbait too.
