If anyone has fished there please give a report. They put them in the 27th.

They've got signs posted around the pond saying that fishing is not allowed until Tuesday. What's up with that?

looks like the first of the month. The tpwd website must be wrong on date. Rowlett Parks and Recreation

TROUT FISHING

Community Park Lake will be stocked with 1,000 pounds of Rainbow Trout during Rowlett's Annual Trout Fishing Season Feb. 1 through Feb. 28.

Rowlett anglers of all ages are invited to cast their line for Trout ranging in size from eight to 12 inches in length and anywhere from to one pound in weight. State of Texas fishing regulations apply, therefore anglers 17 years or older will need a license with a trout stamp. The daily bag limit is five fish, and all trout in the lake are of legal size to keep. Community Park is located at 8500 St. Andrews. For more information, call your Parks & Rec friends at 972-412-6145

They actually did away with the "trout stamp". All you need is a freshwater stamp now.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that you are supposed to keep the trout you catch up to the daily limit of 5 and then stop fishing?
