I am a good person and I will never be sarcastic!! But I am sure that you got me, I was just pulling you a little, trying to get you bent out of shape!! I had a guy do something like that at Lake Mathis one time but he just said that he would come kick my ###. I reached into my storage and pulled out the ore and told him "swim on over buddy, as soon as your finger tuches my boat, I am going to beat the #### out of you" He looked down and at his girlfriend and did not say another word. So I turnned around and started fishing his boat dock, and the funny thing was, I skipped his dock because he was out on it.

Good for you! I love it when someone tries to "Big A**" somebody and the tables get turned on them!

I had something similar happen to me one time. You should have said what I did when he backed down. " I figured you had a bad case of alligator mouth and hummin'bird a**".

I love it that the police told you to keep fishing. I'm sure when they saw the cruisers coming with their lights on they thought they had won. Some people really drive me nuts.

DING DING DING DING! We have a winner. I was badly hoping someone would make this point.

It is against the law to harass a legal hunter or angler, period, and it's within your rights to request, if not insist, that your goofy tormentor be charged with what I suspect would be a class C misdemeanor.

If the officer is unwilling to assume his obligation in the matter, you may file a complaint on your own.

I'm not inclined to raise a stink, but enough is enough. People don't have a right to harass others who are doing nothing wrong. Between idiot landowners and stunningly ignorant lunatics on wakeboarding boats and jetskis, it's getting harder and harder to enjoy a day on the water unless you're on Bill Dance's lake.

Since incurring the unjustifiable wrath of a bunch of nuts at a marina on Lavon one day, I've promised myself that every loser who has a fit 'cause I'm fishing his dock, as well as every psycho who runs a pleasure boat 20' from me in half-plane superwake mode when there's miles of open water on the other side of him is going to be videoed and made to account for his bad behavior if it violated the law.

Cheap digital cameras take pretty good movies these days. Laws are very clear, and evidence goes a long way. Don't start a fight - the law is there to protect you. Anglers deserve to enjoy themselves in peace without being harassed....or terrorized.

Should have got hold of the GW so he could have ticketed them for harrashment. My son had a landowner on Fork(Long Branch) come down to water and start beating it with a rake while fishing for a bedfish close to his property.
