Just wanted to share something my husband rigged up for us last summer. We do the 20 mile (2 nights for us)float on the Brazos several times every summer. A couple of summers ago we had one brutally hot night and decided we needed a fan. We bought this fan at Wal-Mart for $20 and hooked it up to a deer feeder battery with a connector he found in the marine section. It runs on one battery all night long for two nights on high and is soooooo worth it! [img:center] http://flic.kr/p/9sGjVC[/img]

Fans are helpful. I usually just try and drink enough bourbon so that I pass out.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I am surprised it can last two full nights on one battery charge.

I use a small camping fan that runs on 2 D cell batteries and will last several trips on one nighters. Wally world camping product...
