Maybe we should start fishing up river. Caught some bass up their a couple of weeks ago. I know when the Golden Algea hit on 2001, we were still catching fish up river. Im getting to the point that I dont care what I catch as long as it fights. LOL
Just bought a house and going to remodel it, that my timing was bad but the way things are looking on granbury it dosent mattter.

Well I hit the lake yard the past couple days and although I was still trying to be optimistic about the fish kill I have given up hope..Today I went to a cove that produced hundreds of crappie last year and didn't get a bite. flush

I fished my dock yesterday and today, pulled 3 real nice crappie in and then the channel cat started, they are spawning in our canal and I cant complain we are catching 3 to 8 lb fish and lets just say its not boring also catching green trash fish, drum and carp and all will hit a crappie jig with a niblet on it, the catfish prefer a minnow about 1 1/2 FEET DOWN, cast along flat wall on other side and bam there they are, anyway just thought I would give report.

Certainly good to see there is someone catching fish. Sorry bout your run in the other night bmontgomery. Really need to hit behind the next bridge there as thats the only place I have caught a crappie this year. Anyone been to Sanchez up past tin top? I have given up on the main lake and after no success in Stroud last weekend the only other couple areas I can think of to try would be Sanchez or maybe Robinson.
