Do most use a M or MH rod for spinnerbaits. I've always used a Falcon Original MH but have lost a lot of fish. Would a medium be a better choice?

I like 7ft mh but I've found lately using braid has greatly improved my hookup rate over fluoro.

I use a 6'6 MH Falcon Original for spinnerbaits too. Don't seem to have any problem with lost fish. Maybe just a poor luck streak? Try adding a trailer hook.

Thanks for the advice. I may have been looking for an excuse to buy another rod. I use a trailer hook some of the time and always in tournaments.

try spooling 20 or 30 lb braid too I think you'll be happy. Back off the drag a little bit if you go that way.

6'10" mh with a moderate fast tip for me....took me a while to get this rig the way I wanted because I used to use extra fast tip but when I switched to moderate fast I quit missing fish. Been working for me for a few years now.

mh with a fast tip, I use a 6'8" american rodsmith that has plenty of backbone to pull one out of brush, but a soft enough tip to promote solid hooksets without pulling the bait out of the fish's mouth

Try the Skeet Reese Senko/Toad Rod, It is awesome for the Spinnerbait, but not so much for the toad.
