I'll be heading back to Kentucky in a couple days, after being on Lake Fork since January 5th. I fished every second I could, from the freeze to the first wave of spawners and I had a ball. I wouldn't leave, but a good job is hard to come by near the lake. I plan to come back someday soon, and make it work. I love it here. Its going to be difficult to go back to 15lb stringers smile I will miss all of the great fishing partners I found here.

I have had a few good fish here lately and thought I would add them to this post. The first one is 10lbs 10oz I got saturday on the full moon. I got this fish on my buddy Pat McGruder's homemade jig. He makes a great jig and this fish chomped it. Pat did the extreme netman job on her as well.

You've lived the dream that most of us guys wish we could do. Congrat on the fish. Kentcky lake fishing will be great too. What I been told you catching it at great time . April - June is the bomb there. I remember days last spring in May we caught up 50 fish a day . A mix bag as well . I may be your way way in June if my work lets me off. Fork will miss you and Catch big Smallie for us. Trying to go to Dale hollow in june as well . See you buddy

G-man, I enjoyed spending those couple of days fishing with you and am glad to call you friend. You have more pure fishing instinct than a helluva lot of good fisherman I've known throughout the years. A guy could learn a lot from being in the boat with you.

Now go home and stick a pig on that Hudd grin

I have really enjoyed fishing with you. Man, we were just starting to get warmed up and now you are leaving. When you get back here we will pick up where we left off. Congrats on the big fish. Definitely a memory I will have for the rest of my life. Go win some money on Saturday and anytime you need some jigs let me know.

Pat

I got some of those McGruder jigs and they ain't put no fish like that in my boat!!!! LOL!!!! But I guess they will catch big fish,a 11.1. and now a 10.10.
Go home ,re-group and get your self back down here. You can make a living down there .

I'll miss reading your posts and drooling over those pics. Fork and her resident lunkers will be there for you whenever you make it back. Good luck!

Andrew, I enjoyed all of your posts and thanks for keeping us updated. That 10-10 is one heck of a fish just to top it all off! Congrats.

I never had the opportunity to offer up a backseat, but you're more than welcome on your next trip down. Just shoot me a PM when you're planning it. cheers
