Went down to choke 3/18/11 fished all day 3/19(sat) muddy water, wind blowing from am to pm. off the water around six. 3' to 4' swells. Back hurts, kidneys hurt, pride hurts! will take a little while for the water to clear up. I know this is not what you wanted to hear. But The reports we received were all Wrong! Clear water, breezy, fish moving up. Heck I think they moved out!when we got down there the lodge we stayed at said it had been really windy for weeks. All in all it was better than sitting at home!

I went last Friday, caught 10 or so. Biggest about 4 lbs, most were 2 to 3 lbs. 8" watermelon lizard pitched around trees. Moving it like a snail. The wind always blows at Choke and the water is never clear except in certain parts of 4 fingers, and it's still not that clear. Go to the freshwater reports section.
