Go to oso if and only if:

- you are "ok" with your air conditioner falling off the wall in the middle of the night.

- you dont mind your room flooding after showers

- and if getting elecruted is your thing.

Besides that hell of a place to stay! rolfmao

in all seriousness though i personally think best western is worth the extra couple bucks.

Best Western is best place for the money.....$79/night. Free breakfast each morning, too.

That sure doesn't look like the Beacon Lodge we stayed at last year! To be honest I wouldn't put my worst enemy in the room we we had at Beacon last year. We went with Best Western and that will be the only place I stay at from now on. Like others have said we paid $75 a night but the free breakfast was nice and having a clean room to come into each night makes it a no brainer for us! My crew isn't high maintenance by any means and I've stayed in some major dumps while traveling the country duck hunting, but Beacon made my list of "never again" last year smile

Oso Blanco is great. Have a ramp right out the back. Pretty decent rooms. I would recommend them before most.

I've Stayed at Oso Blanco a few times. The parking is good on the highway side. Ramp is not bad if the lake isn't too low. Room is just fine for fisherman not for the wife probably. good luck.

maybe yall stayed in the "motel" section. i saw them and they looked rough. these are the cabins down by the boat ramp.

and yes they do have a place to hang out. not sure if there were grills for cooking. we ate at Tina's!
