okay dont know what going on but plenty of under size fish, was fun for dad and his friend , could not find any keeper but that why they call it fishing huh,rattle traps and chicken liver was not working at all, shad was the flavor today, plenty of shad in the water, fished the back intake plenty of striper back there all under size, let me know what happen sunday , o yea no water being discharge ,

Well I went to Cally instead and found a catfish hole with the biggest being about four pounds. Had a good day all in all but the wind was out of control!

if your trolling, try the powerline area. if your baitfishing I don't know where to tell you to go, i don't baitfish. Also, if you go during the week the wall is a good place for the reds right now

there are a few out there sometimes... i do know there's still big bass there because i've caught about a 10lb'er in my castnet.

redfish, i would try the outskirts of that side of the lake in some shallower water, if that's not producing try the middle where it's deep... Haven't heard of anyone catching them schooling in the middle, but ya never know! I haven't been in a few weeks

thanks again i;m going to try it , do u tie streight to the bait when u troll or do i use a shock leader, SORRY FOR BEING SO DENSE ,but i never been any good at this,

I tie a piece of flourocarbon as my leader, but it's not necessary... If you are going to troll spoons then I would recommend a swivel on the spoon, then a leader with another swivel to your main line. That's how I do not saying it's right or wrong or the best. I use braid main line. When using crankbaits i really have no preference if it's there i use it, if not i dont tie it up

Went out to Braunig Wed night and came back with 1lb cat,two reds and a 20inch striper! Shrimp was the bait.
