It is a disease with no 12 step help program. You have really stepped off into it. You will not be able to leave Academy BPS or Cabelas without buying some new lure, line etc. Like one of the guys said go back before it is to late for you like it is for the rest of us.

bass fishermen everywhere. It has taken me 62 years to understand the "bass" fisherman. I have spent many many hours denigrating all y'all, calling y'all all kinds of names, griping about how there isn't enough bang for the buck when chasing these green trash fish...This weekend changed all that! I was finally taught how to fish a plastic worm. I don't care that it was on a private pond in Monroe, La. All I know is, I caught 28 really good fish on a chartreuse rubber thingy that my buddy called the most ridiculous looking worm/thingy he's ever seen. The only camera we had there was a 35mm. I even conjured up visions of trading my cc boat for something else.. Going to Academy this afternoon for some new rubber thingy's.   Welcome to the Dark Side, now young StumpHopper, you must buy us all who posted on this several pkgs of Flukes ea, then and only then will your training be complete

YayIt'sMe....that was just too funny...by the way I prefer pearl white flukes...and I've got at least $100 tied up in Magnum Flukes...they were the rage on Falcon through the winter...I've just got to find a time to throw one...nine rigged rods and I can't give up a single one to try a Magnum Fluke...and don't send me any more...I assure you I have a 'full clip'.

One rule to remember,never let your wife know how much your really spending chasing those little green trash fish.   can't go anywhere without buying something that has to do with fishing. even if you don't need it.. welcome to the club with the rest of us money burners.. makes it worse when you hang up those high dollar lures

I�m right there with you. I grew up in Kansas fishing Crappie and Walleye, hunting upland. Now last 2 years after being in Texas 15 years I have become a darn Bass fisherman and Deer hunter!  Out there on the lake in Deep V fishing Walleye we thought the Bass fisherman were obnoxious with nasty sounding Evinrudes and stuff.

I built a roll around double sided 4'x8' peg board for the shop that I put bags of worms, craws and other essential bass fishing goodies on. One side is completely filled with Hags and YUM critters.
