I understand the go fast appeal but can a few of you share your thoughts on the fishability and durability of a Bullet? Thanks.

Contant Ken A on here. He has one and lots have rode in it. I fished out of one and to me the ride is better then a skeeter, champ and ranger. The fishing part is awesome. Get u a 21ft cause the bigger front deck. I will only own a bullet when I do buy one!!!!!

Great boats. I ran a 20XD for three years. Loved the speed, and ease of getting around. If Bass Cats weren't available, I would own another one, but my Cougar is fast and is made for fishing!!

They rock for bed fishing...
I fish mostly out of rangers, so the drift when fishing the main lake is always frustrating.

I fished from a 20XD for about 8 years. Very stable platform with minimum movement when fishing or moving around in the boat. The storage was on par with most boats. I was not a fan of the livewell, but they may have changed that. I loved the speed and handling of the boat. They hold their resale very well if you take care of them. I really never had a problem with the boat and would buy another. I would like to look at the new 21SS model. All in all, just about the best boat I have ever owned.

Thanks. That's what I was curious about. They seem lighter so I wanted to know if they blow around a bit more and if they held up over time when taken care of.

I ran Bullets for 12 years there very very fast turn like a car,the 21ft rides great has tons of storage area maybe not the most convenient storage your drain tubes on your front deck will eventually stop up and all your storage under the front deck wont be dry any more until you run new tubes. It has a massive live well biggest I've ever had keeps fish alive in the heat great.I have owned three of them and only one had a stress crack in the splash tray at the transom and I ran mine hard smooth water rough water didn;t matter it took it every time.If you choose to purchase one you will not be sorry they are the toughest boat I've ever owned bar none.

They just put out a new model called a 21ss it is a true 21' boat. I had a 21xd it was a beautiful boat, a little hard on the back in rough water and rod lockers not set up well. Switched to a Bass Cat cougar and now I won't own anything else .

Thanks. That's what I was curious about. They seem lighter so I wanted to know if they blow around a bit more and if they held up over time when taken care of. Mine does blow around more in the wind. That and the livewell are the only things I would like to change. The livewell works fine, it is just a little weird how they set the valves and stuff up.

I have a 21xrd and will not own another boat that is not a Bullet. It has lots of storage area, just not in the conventional 20 different compartment set up. Yes the nose gets pushed around in the wind a bit more. I love the rough water ride of my boat and most would be amazed how well they ride.
My dad has a 98 model 20xd that still looks brand new. It is all in how you take care of them.

+1, rides great, tons of storage. Never rode in a 20' just my 21'. Windy point fishing it will blow around a bit easier than a boat that weighs hundreds more. The light weight has advantages, it tows easy. You don't need a 101 trolling motor to move it around. There are so many good boats mfg available today there are alot of choices. I would be proud to own any. Mine is a 97 model and it has a stress crack or two. When I shine it up looks like a Newish boat. I know alot of folks rave about certain brands customer service. I think Basscat and Bullet are at the top of the list. If or when you call the factory you talk to someone who will remember you 3 months later. Everyone has a preference. What is good for some is not for someone else. Do not be afraid to ask for a ride in many diff. Brands before you decide. I have a 21xrd and will not own another boat that is not a Bullet. It has lots of storage area, just not in the conventional 20 different compartment set up. Yes the nose gets pushed around in the wind a bit more. I love the rough water ride of my boat and most would be amazed how well they ride.

i try to look at like this. I look at people who fish for a living. You do not see touring pros or guides driving bullets, the reason for this could be numerous of reasons. I cant speak for the boats, i have never been in one. but this just something i have noticed with people who use boats on a daily basis and make a living out of fishing in them
