i haven't been out to hubbard since july, so i headed out to hubbard to see how the sandbass fishing was. i figured it would be better with the cooler temperature these days. it was awesome! i finished the morning with at least 40 fish. i lost track after 40. only 10 were legal size but it was still great fun to head out on the water for some sandbass action. there weren't any surface activity at all but the fish were concentrated in little pockets all along the bank. and the weather was really nice. can't beat fall fishing. and raw thumbs from lipping fish all morning is definitely worth it. there's only a few weeks left before the action dies, so head out to the lake for some sandbass action.

I thought sandies were deep water fish in the fall? Are there any reports of other spots where Whites are being caught from shore?
