My son, wife and myself have been fishing along a causeway at Lake Palo Pinto and having a great time. We have been catching all kinds of fish. Last night my son had 4 bass and a 4# yellow cat, all on a perch colored crank. The cat was up in the shallows chasing shad. We have been catching fish an a regular basis so my son has been able to work on different techniques. This week he gets craws on stand up jig heads. His best has been a 3# and mine a 5#. My wife is into ultright and she has done quite well on numbers.
