It's been a long time since i been on. But Ippreciate the 1 time I got a chance to meet you at the canals were those Jerks messed it up for everyone. Man I must say I only fished there a couple of times and pulled in slab after slab of crappie. Man that was good times. I've been fishing the canals so far unmolested.

Hey guys I live right off the canals and a large body of water, just south of 635, its NE of Riverside(oconnor) and royal. Its really clear and hard to find concentrations of fish. Biggest deal is in some spots it seems to be over thirty to fifty feet deep. Thought i was crazy at first. cops(las colinas patrol) will inform you to leave. Bs if you ask me. Anyone ever fish there? What did you catch and what on? Thanks guys

Hit the LC Canals deep night on Friday after I got off work. Got hook in the water at 10:30 PM, and by 11:05 PM, had caught 4 LMB all in the 2-2.5 lb range!

They went for a white bass assassin with pepper flake in it, on a 1/16th oz unpainted jig head!

Slow night for this place but the quality is definitely there! And for some strange reason, water level is UP almost a foot from what it was last week when i fished there.

Hit the LC Canals deep Saturday night after work. Got hook in water at 10:30, by 1:15 PM I had caught 4 hooked 6, two dandies, 2 lbs each or better, but as Jerkin' Bob says, dinks for this place! Water a bit stained after the "so called rain",(didn't get a drop of consequence in this part of the world, unlike what i have been reading in other posts) but found a "motherlode" of shad, and lo and behold, the bass were there!

One of my students pointed me to the Nokia buildings to do some fishing and on my first cast I caught a nice 2.5 pounder. Never had a sniff the rest of the day. Seemed pretty slow and it made me wonder how many fish were actually in there. Anyone else?

Thank you Lord for the gifts in my life

Hey, Michael, I met you and your pal last night at Lake Carolyn. (at my age I can't remember jack, so send me your contact info along with your pal's.)

You know, I hate to say it, I have fished Lake Carolyn several times but only once (with Rudy -- lovefldx) did I catch any bass, and that one was pretty small -- until last night. I caught two decent ones -- about 1.5 and 1 lb respectively, on a drop shot at the gazebo, which is at the mouth of the canal beside the bridge on Las Colinas Blvd. I've done much better in other ponds, but I keep hoping and trying. Beautiful spot. There are some BIG carp (10 to 20 lb?) over by the waterfalls, not just cats, in case somebody is interested in carp fishing. I'll have to bring a carp rig one night.
