Went to the coast for spring break with my family. My brother-in-law just got a 22 foot flats boat . He took us out for two days we fought the wind and the waves. We caught a few rat Reds.My wife and my brother-in-law both caught sting rays.A couple of whiting here and there. We went all over Christmas bay using live/dead shrimp ,and all types of artifical baits. We stoped at bird island the current was ripping by, I could see fish moving in and out of the current. We were just about to try another spot when something started nibling at my bait. I thought it was just a whiteing or something small so, I was going to cross his eyes so I set the hook hard, right when I did this fish almost spooled me. We had two pick up the ancor and chase him. After about 30 min. or so We got him in the boat. As soon as he hit the deck the hook just fliped out of his mouth.Took some pics with him and let him go to fight another day. The next two days we went bass fishing posting those pics in bank fishing.

. . As soon as he hit the deck the hook just fliped out of his mouth.. My partner has had this happen alot lately, mostly with reds. Last trip out his trout were spitting the hook as well. It's been driving him nuts, to the point that it's driving me nuts!
