My grandparents and I are camping on one of the campgrounds on this lake. Does anyone have any idea of what the fish are doin up there? Have they started spawning yet? Are they very active lately? Any advice is appreciated.

Fished there the last couple of days...saw a few on the beds, water pretty stained...best fish went 6 even on plastic in about 2ft of water on a creek drop off...all others were 1-2 lbs on jerk baits and plastics...

Slow rolled white or watermelon swimbaits in 5 feet or less in spawning pockets are working very well. Dad and I have caught numbers and he had a 10+ during the week. Spinnerbaits were getting bit but they weren't acting like they wanted it. They should be spawning in several places.

Just got done fishing today. Only caught one on a chatter bait in a little cove off the edge of some laydown trees. I couldn't find the beds. What cover would they be on?
