Suppose to go to Ivie Friday but it says wind is suppose to be blowing. Was gonna hit it tomorrow but the weather man says gust of 30, so no sense in fighting it. Just hoping Friday might ease up a little. Any weekend weather reports out there for Ivie??

thanks for the post about Ivie buddy and I are fixing to load the ranger and head that way. Glad to hear this lake is doing well, fished it in college and am looking forward to this weekend. your right about the wind but one thing you have to remember is that if you drag your lure in front of a share lunker this weekend the wind will not matter, so go big or go home!!!!

Absolutely! You need some wind at Ivie, especially if you want to fish the more open water.

oh I agree just not so much you cant stay on the main lake. The forecast calls for wind just wondered what is safe and what is just down right risky. Hoping to go tomorrow.
