Limits of whites were caught last friday (in the rain). They were really hauling them in. They were generating all day. I went saturday and the generating and fishing was slower. I managed 2 in about an hour on jigs and spoons. They were females.

Well called the Ramp earlier to see if they were generating today and they said it was a random thing,no definite schedule. But I did finally remember going down there 5 or 6 years ago.The trolley (thing-a-ma-jig) that took you down wasn't working then.Anyway with the 25 degree wind chill and the chance of freezing rain later tonight. I decided to wait till another day to try fishing down there,or anywhere else.I also remember hearing there's been some big stripers and catfish caught below there too.Going to have to get the heavy-duty gear greased up and ready to go when I try it down there.Got a 12'and 15' surf rod with Shimano Triton 200 reels to use just haven't used them in a while. Will let ya'll know when I go down there and how I do.(GFAFTA) FISHINGFOOL40

Sorry for the delay blame it on the *#$% computer but i am back up and running the place below Max Starke is called the ramp and it is a pretty interesting place to wet a line for 2 bucks there was a pretty good school of males that came up in there about 3:00 pm-6:00pm they said they generated early in the day i personally only caught a bout 5 keeper whites on a small lead spoon and road runners but i did get edjucated in the finer points of proper tackle by a gentleman that was doing a fine job of hauling them in by using a jig or road runner 3 to 6 feet under weigthted bobber that allowed him to far surpass any cast that i could throw into the honey hole near the dividing wall on the dam so i may try to go again tommorrow providing I can aquire a couple of those nifty little bobbers i think they call them LAUNCHERS (hence the extremly long range of my neighbor last saturday)or if i dont hear anything good from Fishing fool about Newmans bottom or Irwin bridge which is where i really would like to go hint hint, also the ramp is an old railroad track at about a 45 degree incline that kind of tapers of into some seriuos bolders so pack light and once you reach the bottom be CARFUL there are some very slippery rocks were natural spring seem to run constantly.Good luck & tight lines
