Anyone have general tips for nite techniques during the sPawn? I want to take a friend of mine that can't go during the day. Either that or i am too ugly to look at in the daytime. Whatever the case, advice would be nice!

Use a cork and a jig, typically black/chart is good at night. Fishing is best at night during spawn.

At night I would lean more towards minners under cork if u can't fish vertical.. That's literally the only time I wld go to live over jigs simply because u hv less of a visual advantage. Lot more likely to pitch it up into the the tree rather than around it just cus u can't see as well. Of course w a minna u are still having to pitch the rig out there, but a lot less often. If u can fish vertical at all its all jigs of course. Idk how much I believe it but a lot of guys say the bigger females are more active on beds at night, to me that means fish a bigger area around a bed site in hopes of catching females coming, or hanging just off the beds.

Also, a lot of times, if water temps are in the mid-50s, and fish aren't shallow in the day, they'll be shallow at night in force. Also, try fishing around lighted areas.
