I used them for the first time last year (summer) and loved them. I had them rigged on a 3/0 ad 4/0 EWG gamakatsu hook fished weightless.

I would just throw them out and let them set, jerk them a couple of times and enjoy the blowups. You can also texas rig them with a small sized weight to keep it a little under the water and help with casting in high winds.

I did not know they made a floating swimming fluke. I have used the swimming fluke and honestly, did not do any better than on a regular fluke. Maybe I just need to use them more......

I catch the majority of my fish on these. Fished Amistad this last weekend and caught about 30 fish and I would say 23-25 were on these. Something about the fish love. I don't catch monsters, 6 being the biggest I have caught on a fluke but they do get bit!

Ive had success on them as well using a 3/0 EWG gamakatsu as stated above. However I have not seen any that float? they all sink and in my opinion a lil bit faster than the regular flukes because they are heavier.

I have not thrown these personaly but a guy i fish with often does and he usually throws them weightless on a 3/0 or 4/0 EWG. As far as retreive he fishes them about like you would the regular fluke but with a little bit more swimming involved and has had good success with them.
