My parents have a place over there and we used to fish some of the creeks up in there and had some success. But, I've never fished the oil pads because I was always fishing boat slips on Texoma. Was just wondering if anyone fishes much at Hagerman and how successful they've been. Might give it a try soon.

I couldn't head that far south last month in Big Mineral when I was down there due to the seasonal closure, but I did some research and talked to a few people and yes, it would seem they really tear 'em up down there in the spring. Same for catfish, too.
I'd say it's a good bet for a limit of crappie if you're there at the right time. Also looks like a really cool place to be, fish biting or not.

With the low water levels we have (lake is 3 feet low) most of the pads have dry ground between them. The main creek has a few fish in it.
