Picking up my ZX225, 200 Yamaha. After reading some post, Some are saying that Skeeter's ride is not that great. I took a test drive and tought it was pretty good. Somebody make me feel better about my decision.

Thanks,

Your not going to be disappointed. That is one awesome boat. One of the best boats Skeeter built for many years.

dude 90% of "rough riding boats" are because of the drivers... i have ridden with you and trust me you know how to drive.

dont worry man wink it's only rough if you are popping through 2' waves and passing rangers at 72mph smile take it easy and you wont have any worries.

btw- the 225 is 20'2"... same length as the old zx202c hull. That is what i have and it has a 200efi on it. it pushes 67pmh with me and tourney load and 65 with another person.

another thing you can do without fear is kill the motor at full speed and not have to worry about backwashing the deck... I can stand up and be on the front deck before I come off plane smile

I have a ZX 200 with a 200 yammy on it and love it. It is all in the driving I will mess up sometimes and hit one wrong and smash my arse through my throat but any boat will do that.

Congrats on the new boat. You'll love it.

But like said above, most ruff rides are caused more by the driver than the boat.

Good call on the Skeeter you would be having back surgery in a couple of years if you would have bought a Ranger .....
