Anybody else watching this on the Internet? Looks like Shaw Grisgby will win it. Speaking of Shaw, what the hell is up with what he's wearing? He looks like a freaking mummy fishing?? Unless he has some serious skin cancer problem, I don't get it...?

Yes, Florida. Harris Chain of Lakes. Basscam has Shaw at about 72 pounds. Others were on his tail too. KVD is in about 4th ( non official).

I have one of the things he has around his face. Its UV blocking, kindof like underarmor heatgear material. I really like it.

Yes shaw is my original bass fishing "hero" has been since i was 6. As for the stuff he is wearing. I have gloves and face neck guard also and i love them. Wear it every trip in summertime especially saltwater.
I can backlash toilet paper.

Shaw, Mark Menendez and a few others have been raising cancer awareness among the pro's and gear like this in one way to protect yourself. They call it Buffwear or something like that.

It's also easier than putting on sunscreen multiple times a day. No smell. No residue.
When it's a dead still summer day it can get hot, but when it's like that I'll dip it in the cooler and put it on. Pretty refreshing. I really should wear mine more. I get burned way too often.
Anyway... back to the topiccongrats SHAW! One of the nicest guys in the biz.

I have a buff headwear deal that goes over your face, ears, and neck. It is common to see them in saltwater, but in freshwater, people still look at you funny.
I absolutely hate sunscreen, so this is a way for me to try and not get fried.
It is warm in the winter, cool in the summer.
Back on topic, glad to see Grigsby win!
