Caught 34 slabs from 3:30 to dark. They were in about 5 feet of water. Minnows or jigs....didn't matter what you threw at them.

What part of the lake did you catch them. Was it up towards river or on main lake. Going to be at clear springs campsite for week and just curious how the bite will be there.

We were around the Atlanta State Park area. We caught most of them in brushpiles about 5 feet deep but some came from around the banks in about 2 feet. The lake is low so most of the bank brush is out of the water right now. Just find some cover in about 2 to 5 foot of water and you should be able to catch them anywhere on the lake.

I'm going back out today and will report later tonight.

Wright patman is an underestimated crappie lake. Nice slabs in there. I promise you that.

Caught 18 keepers in same area as yesterday evening. Some in 2 feet of water and some in 5 feet. Water temp was 61 degrees. The next couple of weeks should be great.

Good to see all the Texarkana area folks on the forum. Thanks for all of the input. As soon as I get out and have a successful day, I'll repay the information.

Any Millwood reports???
