Before the Blues vanish for the summer months? Just wondering is March about the end of the Blue Season?

Blues bite year around. However usually during the winter months it seems that the bigger ones are usually a little more active. There are some really nice catches that are posted year around. You can usually catch a few big ones feeding in the shallows during the warmer months depending on the type of body of water you are fishing.

Nope...good thru April. And, it's just the larger fish (over 20lbs) that seem to vanish...the smaller fish stick around all summer.

If you dont mind night fishing, big blues can be caught fairly consistently starting again in July/August. Not near the numbers of bigguns are caught in the summer but they fight WAYYYY harder.

Thanks i thought they kinda went into hybernation lol. Try to keep a line with shad on and out when channell fishing anyway have caught some nice ones for eating but still waiting on the ONE lol.
