Caught this fish 3 times last summer, all in the same 15 yd stretch and on a different bait every time.

The first time I caught it, I thought it was done for because I hooked it in the tongue but she kept coming back for more.

By no means am I an expert, but I doubt you caught the same spawner for two weeks.

Why not? According to many other herein, it happens all of the time.

Archie, I saw the same thing happen on a nice pond here in Frisco. Used to be chalk full of big bass and as soon as people started to figure it out they came by the dozen until they completely wiped em' out. I used to go fish that little pond during the week day mornings around 5am then come back home and get ready for work. No better way to start your work day then catching a dozen bass in the 2-5 lb range.

I think you might of Missed the 2 WEEK part. That would be a long delivery.

I caught the fish off the same tree 3 times in 10 minutes, left for an hour and came back by the tree. This time there was a boat tied to the tree and a guy throwing every which way except at the tree. I told him there was fish by the tree and he ignored me. I threw at the tree and caught the same 6# fish again. I turned it loose and he imediatly started throwing to the tree. I just grinned and trolled away. BTW it was at Fork in the back of glade

Bass fishing is like a 30,000 acre golf course with no flags and five holes you can't see- Tim

We we're fishing in Minnesota a few years back, my dad broke off on one early in the morning on the northside of a 100 acre lake, my grandpa broke off at midday on the south side, and at dusk my dad caught one off an island in the middle, had a worm in it's throat. After filleting it, checked out it's stomach and it had the worm of my dad's from the morning. Caught the same 5 pounder three times, on the same texas rigged red shad senko.

Caught a one-eyed bass at Fayette over a year apart in the same area. The first time it looked pretty sickly, the second time i had put on a little more weight. At a stock pond broke off in the weeds and within 5 casts caught the same fish with the hook and bait still in its mouth.

Many years ago,10-15, in Williams on Fork I had to troll through a shallow area to get to a submerged pond that always had the same fish on a bed. I had to stick my rod through a small opening in an overhanging bush. For about 4-6 weeks caught the same fish every time we went in there. The next year same thing a bigger male on the same bed for about the same time period. Whether it was the same fish both years don't know but definitly the same fish each year. We called him Mikey cause he ate everything we put in there. The bed disappeared after the second year and has not come back. I sure miss Mikey.

Then why keep fishing there?

The answer to the question is yes.

Caught the same bluegill four times in a five minute span. He was guarding a bed, and kept picking up my jig and trying to move it.

Mark,

In 20002, I caught the same fish 3 times. Every 2 weeks. But, it was ona specific piece of cover on Lewisville. 4-9 the 1rst time, 4-13 the next and 5-4 the last time. Getting ready for the Working Man's T's on Friday night. Went in the first thing, saw a family fishing nearby. They said "Yeah, caught a 6 lber last weekend and boy she sure did taste good." AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Still caught a 2.5 lber, but OUCH. The fish had the same black spots on her, every time.

Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

I went and fished a pond yesterday with a friend and one of the bass he cought was hooked in the eye, and it got all messed up. I went back to the same pond this morning and on my first cast with a senko cought the same exact bass with the freshly wounded eye
