My eyes get so dry they start burning....facing into the heavy wind can dry mine out so bad I close them for a bit to relax the burn (while fishing).
Some days I can't wait to go to sleep just to let them stop burning.

Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life youre living.
No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

+1...reasonably priced, different lens colors, and mine all keep the wind out...got 4 pair. Not sexy, but they work.

Did you ever think that maybe slowing down a bit might help.

safety goggles over sunglasses +1 Cheap and effective. That's what I do. When I cared what I looked like, I used ski goggles, but those days are long past.

Prescription goggles are available at most eye centers. They are a safety item for industry. I had a pair when I worked in a factory that processed lignite coal. The lens were prescription in a regular set of safety goggles.

If you get the cocoons, be sure and get a pair big enough to fit over your glasses, don't get them too small. Measure your frames liberally.

I am a fan of Wiley-X they saved my eyes in Iraq from an IED explosion. Unfortunately I lost some function in my ability to close and moisten my eye. They have glasses that you can add foam to the frame to prevent the air from drying your eye out. Also can do prescriptions. Below is a link. http://www.wileyx.com/prescriptions/prescriptions.aspx?ActivityCode=CORP thank you sir for protecting my family! +100000 yep get the wiley x with the foam pad in them. also you can get the draw string too and suck the glasses tight to your face when driving the boat or what ever.
