I have slow leak in my boat and I'm unable to locate the source. There is NO HULL DAMAGE. NO TRANSOME DAMAGE. I believe it is coming frome the plumbing of the livewell system the boat is an 04 model. Has anyone had this problem before and is there an easy way to locate the leak without removing batteries and other junk. I cannot see any leaking when I put in the water. It appears to be a small leak, I can fish a couple of hrs. and pump it out in less than a minute. Any suggestions welcomed.

Iassume you mean water in the livewells, I'll try that.

I had a crack in the elbow of one of the aerators that pumped water into the live well. It caused more than a slow leak though; you could look down into the bilge and see it coming in.
Fishin' for fun!

Besides the livewell, it could be coming from the bilge pump and pumpout outlets. Disconnect the bilge pump, put some water in the bilge to cover the outlets, and crank the nose of the boat up and see if it leaks out somewhere.

I had a crack in a livewell pump on my old ranger and in the beginning the bilge pump would come on about every 20 minutes. By the time I broke down and fixed it, the darn thing was coming on about every 3 minutes...

If you have the screw-in hull drain plug, they can leak if the o-ring goes bad. Put water in the hull with the plug in and watch for a drip.
