I'm going out to Ray Bob tomorrow morning and can't decide what to do. Do I try crappie or sandies. I know the sandies have been biting out in deep water, but don't know if I should try crappie instead and if it is crappie where do I launch.

I'm coming from the east, so it is either Isle Dubois, Jordan or Buck Creek......what do you think?

I heard the boys are already comin in shallow up there. banana
I don't think they're in thick though so they're probably holding out in 10-15 ft. If I were you, I'd launch at Buck Creek and try that train bridge and maybe some timber. Good luck! thumb

Just to clarify, I was typing this at the same time DBZIZ was typing his reply. haha. kinda strange that we both said the same thing though. Must be right bouncy

Thanks....I think I will start at Buck Creek in the morning and stay off the main lake since it is supposed to be pretty windy. Have you guys had any luck east of the bridge or would you go thru the train bridge into the main lake area?

I'd hit the timber just past the train bridge and then the bridge columns on the way in. I've caught a few fish frys worth of crappie there grin
