Passed by there this afternoon, about 4 PM, at the Centerville/Castle Road parking area, and saw several cars there? Anyone care to report if anything is going on, sandie wise?

Don't hold out on us, we wanna know if the sandies are running yet!

Anyone?

Maybe I'm wrong but isn't that area at Castle Rd and Centerville posted NO PARKING?
Thought the authorities were passing out parking tickets there last year?

WRONG! Centerville/Castle Rd IS a parking lot for the hiking/jogging biking trail that runs along the creek It is the only place where parking is permitted and encouraged. 190/Centerville is where tickets have been issued for the last couple of yrs.

A buddy parked at Springfield Park off of 66, fished about 2 hrs and caught 2 sandies and 1 black bass about 4lbs. Using white roadrunners. Start fishing just north of the little ponds and there are holes all the way up to castle. Thinking about trying it Saturday about 9 or 10 am.
