I was told 59 on the main lake around the 820 bridge last week... I'm planning on getting out there tomorrow for a couple of hours to do some looking around for the tournament on Sunday, the lake should be about ready to bust loose...
Lake Worth Workingmans Tournaments Every Wednesday from April 2nd to end of August $50 entry + $10 Side Pot - 100% Payout 6pm - 9pm

I fished yesterday (Thursday)from 9am to 2pm. Saw temperatures from 58 early to 60 later. Didn't do well - 1 bass about 15" long.
In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

I was out there today for about an hour and a half....mainly just running the boat for a while. I stopped in a small cove west of the 820 bridge and pulled in 3 good fish and lost another at the boat. I never hooked up my HDS or 520 so I am not sure what the water temp was but all 4 of those fish were right on the bank. I was flippin a black/blue jig with a black/blue fleck crawl. They were aggressive and hit hard. I didnt stick around for long due to the wind and I cant keep my motor idling (ethanol). By the way, I went over to buy a pass today and was stopped by the water department. You dont have to have a pass right now and he told me to check back May 1st as they may start selling them in the surrounding gas stations.
