Are there any places on Ray Roberts to camp that have access to electricity for the boat?

I have a reservation at the State Park, but there are no electricity spots, and they are only walk in spots.

Cheap motel?

I can't seem to find anything.

The only motel I know of in the area is in Sanger and I don't remember the name right now but it is just off 35, and I don't think it is cheap but its the only one.

The Four Horseman used to be a decent inexpensive motel that was set up well for fisherman, but it is OUT OF BUSINESS.

I usually would pick one of the Horse trailer lots at the state park, there are electrical outlets by the bathroom that I would use to charge up after fishing. Just park over by the bathroom or park in the spot next to the bathroom if it is empty, charge up and then move back to my reserved spot when complete. Usually there are only a few trailers in there so not too crowded.

Get one of the camper sites at the state park. It has electric hookup. Lantana would be a nice place to stay but would not be real cheap. It is right next to Jordan Park and near Pilot Point so you can get something to eat pretty easy. I recommend Jays for breakfast or lunch on the Square. Bucannans is really good for lunch or dinner and Lowbrows is a little bar on the square that might or might not be open but is a nice little place for 42 in the evening;) Ernestos at 455 and 377 is great Mexican food. If you need any other info feel free to email me:)

What weekend are you trying to go that the state park is booked up?

Did you try both Isle du Bois and Johnson Branch?

Exactly, I am an Aggie so the answer to both questions is yes.

thanks for all the info. The weekend we are going is the 18-19 of March. All electric campsites are booked. We'll just have to run a REALLY long extension cord I guess.
