That really freaking sucks. I hope PK is in the clear for this year but I hate to see it at other lakes. I sure wish this was something that could be contained/killed. Tragic.

That does suck. 82,000 for Granbury and it is said to be worse in the river.
"As of Feb. 28, the total number of fish killed in the lake was estimated at more than 82,000"
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it"

Yep,just got back from there. Kill starts just above Ham Creek & gets progressively worse upriver. Mostly shad & perch, but a few sand bass. Some dying fish also. Sad sight....

TPWD Inland Fishery Division completed a fish kill investigation late last week on the Brazos River. They found dead fish from the Lake Granbury dam to CR 1175. By Saturday, the fish kill had been reported as having extended to Ham Creek Park. Said an early estimate of 58,564 dead fish is probably on the low side. Sunfish species were the most commonly noted affected fish. Other species observed include white bass, largemouth bass, white crappie, striped bass, shad, darters, catfish, freshwater drum, and others.
