The beach bumper protector on my boat has peeled loose at the bottom. I bought the boat used so I don't know if it's a hambys or a keel shield. Any ideas out there on what I could use to glue it back on? It's only loose at the bottom, maybe a foot or so hanging down.

hamby's has their logo imprinted in the plastic near the top...at least mine does. Not sure about the keel shield. Hamby's are guaranteed to stay on for life. contact a local dealer and they should take care of it for you no charge.

Go see Michael Bristow at North Texas Fiberglass in Denton. He'll fix you up.

If it was installed with double sided tape then its a KeelShield or Keelgaurd. If its a Hamby's (unless its a light duty) it will have the Hamby's stamp on the top driver side. I dont know if the Hamby's light duty has a lifetime warranty.

Thanks guys, I sent an email to both companys and Keel Shield replied right away, said to use 3M 4200 Fast Cure adhesive for it.

Both are top notch products and both serve a purpose. both also have great customer service. Hard to compare them head-to-head though as they have obvious differences. I also am biased towards Hamby's because I like the added protection and the slicker look they have when installed. I also consider Roger S. the owner a friend and he strives to offer a great product ata a fair price coupled with awesome service. Whichever you choose you'll be better off than going without. Mark

You kinda answered your own question. It's peeling off means it's a keel shield, finish removing it and buy a Hamby's and be done with it.
