Can this be done ? I was out at my spot at Lewisville yesterday for a bit. It was 53 degrees outside (per the radio) and kinda windy. I know the carp as warmer water fish. I have also heard of them being caught in the "winter" here. How do ya' get 'em to bite in these colder months ? Thanks and happy holidays to all !!!!!!!!

Hey tree top the biggest trick is going to be to make your bait much smaller then you would during the summer if you are using corn go from 8 kernals in the summer to 1-3 kernals in the winter also keep a eye on the solunar periods throughout the day these will be peak feeding times for carp also the stronger smelling baits seem to work better in the winter things with feeding stimulates like betine/anase I hope this helps!!~Zach

And I tried to be creative..... I chummed my spot with some creamed corn and dry milk to create a "yummy carp haze" in the water. My heart's in the right place but the fish perhaps were not !
