After understanding how the GPS and sonar works a little better, I realize that my gps antenna needs to closer to where the transponder for the sonar is. Relocating it will leave a 1.5" or so hole at the current place. So my question / problem is what to seal/cover that hole with.?

You could plug it with a plastic plug, they snap in. Check with an automotive store for them.

They have a stainless plug for using on Kitchen sinks when your only using a couple of the hole for your faucet thats pretty nice.
