Can someone tell me what depths to catch channels at in different times of the year? I know shallow for the spawn, but what about other times?

Right at dusk and then again at dawn. Haven't caught too many during midday, especially when summer arrives.

They can be caught shallow as long as the water doesn't get too hard. I've caught them in 3 feet of water when the water temps were in the low 40's. Just remember, the wind is your friend!

I caught a limit of Channels last weekend in 3 feet of water using minners. Unfortunately I was looking for Crappie but it was still fun.
