Looks like the same fish to me Mark. My buddy caught a fish and it broke him off, then I caught the same fish with the bait still in its mouth about 20 yards down from where he lost it. I can never repeat this in a tournament though!

I broke one off on a carolina rig and caught the fish about 10 minutes later with the leader coming out of his mouth

caught the same catfish at Murrell Park that my friend caught 2 months earlier. Same spot he was using cutbait fishing for catfish and I was using a spinner bait. Also caught the same slot at Grapevine about two weeks apart. Once just fun fishing once in a tourney. not the same but caught two sandies on the same cast with a Ratl-trap. One hooked to front trebles one on the back. That happened at Ray Roberts

I almost forgot 2 years ago at the Media Championship on Cedar Creek my partner and I caught the same fish at the same time! It was a 2lbr and we both flipped next to the same piling got bite set the hook and thought we both had a big one until we realized we were fighting each other. The fish picked up both of our finesse worms in bite! It had a hook in both corners of its mouth.
Retirement best job ever.

Ryan - my dad has done that to me twice in my life time.....come along behind me & caught a fish that I have broken off AND 9094 will like this, both of them came on Lake Brownwood on the island down by the dam. There aren't many fish there but they do bite a lot!

I caught the same fish 8 times last year. Caught her everyday for 8 days in a row. Got to love bed fishing.
I did catch one fish twice out of a small farm pond. First time she weighed 4.55 and two years later she weighed 5.72. Has a round black spot on the top of her head

My partner and I were fishing a college tournament on Falcon and I was having one of those days early on. I broke off two drops and three carolina leaders in about 20 minutes. The last leader I broke was on a fish and not from being hung up. We fished the same little ledge all day long and about 2 hours after I had broken that fish off he sets the hook on his drop shot and flips about a 4 pounder in the boat with my hook and leader in its mouth. Pretty crazy.

I'm not sure, but I think I have caught the same fish three times on Twok in the past week or two. It has come off the same stump, same size and color, on the same bait. Makes me wonder if it is a spawner?

Was fishing Amistad set the hook and broke off a wacky worm. Then a few minutes later in a complete opposite direction close to 100yards from the original spot I broke off at my brother caught on about 5lbs that had my wacky worm in its mouth.

Haven't ever done that but one weekend we were fishing Amistad and my younger cousin had what he called his "lucky" crankbait on his rod (He caught about 10 more fish on that crankbait than anyone one of us had on ours all day). Anyways, towards the end of the day he got hung up in a tree and lost his lure. Two days later we were fishing that same spot and I got hung up. Started ripping it and it finally came loose. Once I reeled it in I saw his "lucky" crankbait hooked on my back treble hook.

I caught the same fish twice on the same day at ray hubbard last year. I caught him on a shakey head on the corner of rip rap. He was about 7 inches and had about 5 feet of 20 lb big game hanging out of his mouth. I didn't think and threw him back without cutting it off. I pull back to that spot two hours later and caught him again, I cut off the line the second time. I think he was suicidal! Petro and I fished a deal at Chambers once and he missed one about 6-7lbs that pulled off his ribbitt over a trash pile. About an hour later we go by there again and I fire a RC 1.5 in it and catch one 6-7 with a big fresh hook hole in the top of the mouth. We were the only boat in there. That same day I pitched under a dock and got broke off by a 5lber. Same deal an hour later Petro pitches under the same dock and lands a 5lber. The fish still had my bait in its mouth from earlier. Last but not least Petro and i were fishing CC one summer and both mouth hooked the same fish at the same time on Carolina rigs. we thought we had doubles on till we saw what the deal was. It was only a 3lber though. I remember that Mark, was during the TFF match play against us.. That was awesome
