I was just wondering why the ORIGINAL Storm wiggle warts are so desired compared to the ones created after Rapala bought Storm.I was also wondering how hard they are to find and how expensive?

EBay should have them, not too expensive. I always thought the originals gave off a better wiggle and caught more fish IMO...but hey, who knows.. .I have a tackle box full of them tho..

The originals for sure put off a better wiggle. I have several and would not part with them. This why they can be hard to find.

Some of the original ones are selling for as much as $30 on ebay. I have some too that I'm thinking about parting with. Not sure though...... Might just keep them for the grandkids, as collector's items.

Hey Scotty, we might have to work out a trade for a few of them wiggle warts. Whatdaya need in return? Lucky Craft, swimbaits, Eric Gandy Customs? Let's do some horse tradin'. I like the crawdad colors.

If you sell them up here around LOZ you'll get more money for them. Its about the equivalent of the red trap up here.

the major difference is the rattle, the newer ones have brass whereas the desired ones have lead, lead produces a lot different sound and yes they also run a little different then the new ones check out www.6thsenselures.com and click the ebay button, he has new ones and the vintage warts and the best paint jobs period

I like the crawdad colors. I like the firetiger... killer on cypress springs and also worked well for RoF and I at a cedar creek CABA tourny last year... But, I am not as bountiful in them as I would like to be.. So, if I'm ever in your boat, throw them all ya want...but until I score about 36 more originals, I can't part ways with'm
