Fish Killer you are so correct about it expanding in the sun. I found out the hard way. I opened a bottle on the front deck after it had been in the sun for a while and it exploded out of the bottle. I had a mess on me and my front deck.

I have used it for a while now.The other thing to mention about it is to be sure to get the lid closed good or the next time you go to use it the jar will be empty, even if stored in a cool spot.

I actually had the oppertunity to join in an on new product e-conference with the owner of JJ's Magic a few months ago.
It's a different type of chemical compared to Spike it, and the garlic is WAY more potent. The reason for the glass bottle is due to the fact that the chemicals used are sensitive to changes in temperature. Basically they will expand due to heat, and the bottle will actually pressureize if left in the heat. Kinda of scarey but if you open it slowly it will release and and not spew everywhere. Thats the reason for the plastic insert in the lid. To allow room for expansion.
Anglers Pro Tackle at the Hurst Fun N Sun location has it. thanks, I guess that means I will have to drive to Hurst and spend more money because I know I can't just get one thing there...

I've been using it for a while. There's nothing like it. I mostly get the clear and dip all of my baits in it for the scent.
Some precautions must be taken, however. I don't know what's in this stuff, but it requires special treatment. If it's hot outside, open the jar SLOWLY. Let the air escape as slowly as possible as you open the jar. It might boil over if opened too quickly in the heat.
Also, leave it in the jar. I tried putting it in plastic container and it dissolved the container. It was crazy. I just leave it in the jar now.
