Bought some a few weeks back and so far I like it better than Spike It. Though I will say its probably a little messier since the bottles are different. It seems to be more potent with the garlic and the dye seems to fade less as well if you pre-dip your baits.

Love the stuff, but man the lid is messy!!! Don't leave it in the sun or you'll get more on your hands than your bait!

luvin it! this stuff is strong and will really dye your bait quick! you have to be extra careful when unscrewng the lid, and the glass bottle scares me... so I just use a little more precaution smile I dont see a need to buy spikeit again as long as this stuff is on the market! I really like it!

I just pour the JJ's into an empty bottle of Spike it to alleviate the spilling/messiness issue of the JJ's jar.

I read that it will actually eat through the plastic jars over time which is why its sold in the glass jars. not sure though. I usually try and pre dip baits if I can anyway.

I had it eat through sinkos and other salt impregnated baits

I actually had the oppertunity to join in an on new product e-conference with the owner of JJ's Magic a few months ago.

It's a different type of chemical compared to Spike it, and the garlic is WAY more potent. The reason for the glass bottle is due to the fact that the chemicals used are sensitive to changes in temperature. Basically they will expand due to heat, and the bottle will actually pressureize if left in the heat.
Kinda of scarey but if you open it slowly it will release and and not spew everywhere. Thats the reason for the plastic insert in the lid. To allow room for expansion.

Anglers Pro Tackle at the Hurst Fun N Sun location has it.
