Last year I was fishing a frog around this laydown, had a big strike, set the hook, and the line snapped. Later that same day, we passed by the same laydown and my brother caught a fish with a spinnerbait. When we pulled it up I saw a few feet of line hanging out of her mouth, I gently pulled on it and out came my frog.

At Choke during the Everstart this year.. Pulled into my hot spot, little creek, fired out a senko, got bit, set the hook, it wrapped me around a stump and broke off. Tied on a new rig, tossed into the same spot, thump, bow into it and boat flip it, fish has 2ft of line hanging out its mouth, give it a pull and out comes my senko... Keeper too
Caught the same bed fish during a trip here at fork last year 4 times in 5 minutes, both clients catch it, then they asked if they thought i could catch it, i said well sure, second flip, thump.. fish in the boat. They gotta a real kick outta that..

I have seen the same fish caught 3 times... I took a week of vacation to do some bed fishing with my brother and his son and we found a large bass up under a dock and we took turns catching her.
After that we left her alone....

i am almost positive I did this winter at Fork. These pics are about 6 weeks apart and it came about 500yds away the second time from where I caught it the first time. Same creek though and same bait off same cover. Look at the tail. I am betting its the same fish. When I first started bass fishing, I was not very good at knots. I caught about a 2lb bass from the bank one day on a plastic worm, and just as I was bringing it up on the bank, the knot on the hook came undone. Fish swam off with the worm firmly hooked in the side of it's mouth. I walked around the pond back to my car, got another worm, rigged it, and tied it back on, then walked to the other side of the pond where I had lost the fish. On the second cast I caught a two lber and this one did not come off. When I brought him up on the bank, he had one hook and worm in one side of his mouth, and the other in the opposite side.....I told that story to a buddy of mine a few years later and he doubted it, until he caught a chain pickerel on a grub and the line broke...He re-rigged through back into the same spot, and caught the same fish. This time the line didn't break. He said now he believed my story.

I had a friend who was fishing a lake in Upper Michigan and caught a very large black bass. Well he got it up to the boat the line broke. He was using one of his favorite lures and was a little disturbed at himself for losing the fish and the lure.
He continued to fish the lake and about a mile from where he lost the fish he caught the same fish again. This time he got in the boad and sure enough his favorite lure was still in the fishes mouth.

Once on Granbury, I think it was the only fish in the lake.

I am pretty sure I landed a bed fish. Released went further back in the area came back maybe 30min later threw to what I was pretty sure I caught the 8lber before. Set the hook and he bent the [censored] out of my mustad 3/0 hook. Lost her in front of the boat.

I use to have a place on Fork, and we would sometimes set on the porch drinking a cold one and watch to see how many times in a spring time afternoon one fish could get its picture taken.

My dad caught the same five pounder at this private lake three different times. It hung out on the same willow tree right by the dock. It had some kind of mark on it that identified him.

Yeah it was a carp and I knew it was the same fish because I broke it off before and it still had my ratltrap hanging out of his tail when I caught him again.
And the crazy thing is, I hooked the back treble on the ratltrap that was stuck in the carp's tail with the treble on the new ratletrap I had tied on.
I thought both times I had a huge bass but was disappointed both times.
At least I got my Ratltrap back.
