Think I'll go out to the barn and cry for a while. Oh well, s*#@ happens, just happens to me a lot! I'll get er fixed and plan another trip!

Hope you didn't leave any of that bad luck laying around. We're heading down Sat morning. 1450 miles! Ouch. Can you say, "road rash"? Had my motor tank tested last week just for a little insurance. Can't wait!

Bee Team
Don't worry about having to postpone, the fishing actually gets better once the spawn is done and they set up on points and drop off's.

Ok trip back on!!!Woohoo! Jumped to conclusions before I checked it out,top bearing on shaft shelled out and locked down. Pulled plugs and had great compression. That lead us to lower unit and yep there it was. No damage to gears, got lucky on that. Leaving Sunday morning and be on the water Monday morning. Maybe we'll run into some fellow TFF members while there.

Haven't been to Falcon in 25+ years!!! Staying at Oso Blanco. I asked this question on an earlier thread of mine but it got buried. We are a little "overbooked" with only two boats and 7 guys. Do you think having my son fish out of a Kayak is a viable option? He is a college student and decided Falcon would be more fun than South Padre. Not sure I agree with him but thinking about letting him fish out of a Kayak instead of trying to put four in a boat!

If you stay close to him it ought to be alright. Don't know that I'd do it on the Mexico side, however.

In the past we've always had good food, but the trip we took in February, the food was awful. My chicken strips were slimy and my buddy took 1 bite from his hamburger. We paid and went back to the room to eat a sandwich.

I wouldn't fish out of a tube. Two different times we had snakes try to get in the boat with us. If it weren't for us moving along, they would have, very protective of their baby-making territory right now.
