Spent a few hours out there today and nothing. Fish just looked at every bait I threw out there and never would hit.

That place gets ALOT of angling pressure, scale all of your baits down and fish slowly.

Here are 47 pages mostly about Bethany Lakes.
They are great lakes and I have caught and released many huge fish from them. hooked

Did you try standing back a ways from the bank? Those fish might be getting spooked.

I have had my best luck like everyone else has said with smaller baits kind of finesse fishing. On the weekends that place gets hammered btons of people! Once you find something they want you can catch a ton of fish! Good luck

LOL No..I live directly across from Celebration. Thats my perch pond. Theres really nothing in those ponds except a few decent stocked channels and millions of perfect sized bait perch.

...Now there IS a pond across the street from celebration right here that I pulled a 9 lb bass from. They are pretty old...good luck!

Knot,

SHHHHHHHH! don't give away those untouched ponds!

Fish are on beds at Bethany Lakes and very skittish. MOst of what I saw are paired up, but not locked onto the beds. SLOW is key and you may be working 1 or 2 good fish for an hour. Yes the fishing pressure is intense on the weekends....I try to find out of the way places to fish that are not as hammered.
Good luck and I hope this helps!

Man I wish they were still kinda secret hidden..but Allen Parks and Recreation decided that we need yet ANOTHER park so they are doing all kinds of construction around it...
