Well the wife backed out on me at the last moment this morning so I figured I could use some me time. Found good bait at the ramp and the cats were biting! Fished for about 3.5 hours and caught 24 with the biggest at 15 lbs. All were released to fight another day. Fish caught in 14 to 30 foot of water, but 20 to 25 was the sweet spot. Had a few doubles, missed some while reeling another in, and at one point only had 1 of 4 rods in the water. They were not shy, biting very aggressively. A few pictures: The big girl: another shot of her: Some of the bait: A double:

That is some good fishing John. Did you check that 15lb'er to see if it had my last hook wound or maybe it had healed by now. lol

Good job on hammering the blues, nice to see you let them go to fight another day.I will be out there tomorrow, might try drifting if the wind is not too high.I have been doing pretty good on the channels in the reeds the last few weeks.

Just remember that the Crappie Wall is a Blue Gill Trophy Zone! Gonna give Braunig a try in the very near future.
