I didn't win or place, but I certainly showed. Gave my backseater alot of ramp chatter material when I did a "Triple Lindy" off the boat and into the main lake about 0830 this a.m. We were drifting along (at about 4 mph in all that wind) a submerged treeline throwing cranks in about 15 ft. Took a partially submerged tree broadside and the SuddenLink became the SuddenDrink for me. shocked

Partner and I would have both drawn checks today

But unfortunately we got down here to prefish yesterday
Got to the room last night and got ready for the tournament Laid down and started reading the rules and noticed a Friday offlimits

Oh well we didnt get to fish in the tournament but atleast we got to sleep in past the rainfall. And still catch 6 fish apiece

Friday was a great day with some really solid fish
Goof to hit the water tomorrow till around lunch then head back home

Really bad time to find that out. That's one of the reasons my tourney partner didn't want to fish in it.

20.83 won it with 3 fish, one of those fish was the 11.79. 2nd had 11.05, third and fourth tied with 9 lbs fifth was 8+, 6th was 7+, 7-10 hd 6+lbs.

First place took home $2,200.00 and big bass for $685.00

The wind was brutal for sure.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.
