I visited the 380 Greenbelt, the 428 Greenbelt and the 455 Greenbelt this morning. The 380 and 455 ramps look Ok...but there is no way you could launch or retreive on the 428 ramp, if I was in the right place. with about 20 concrete steps, another 10 ft of dirt and a steep bank, makes Tx 428 a non deal...thus a long paddle from 380 north to 455. Anyone fished this recently?

I live on the north side of Ray Roberts and have noticed the water level coming up the last couple days. I'm not sure why? I guess they got a lot of rain up north.
Any way, If it continues they will start to release more water down the greenbelt. I would think that would really turn on the sand bass.

We'll need a flood before that happens! Ray Roberts is still 3 feet low.

I just heard a report. It's 1 1/2 low right now. That's what I was saying. I drive across it every day going to work. And in the last couple days it has came up a lot. I have no idea why. I just can tell you it has really came up.

Wow, maybe it's coming up after all. Texoma needs several feet also.

Zombie, in and out at 380? I wonder about fishing from the 380 access point...as best you could? I wonder how far the fish have come out of the lake? I'm getting good reports about them coming out of Grapveine and up into the creeks...

Roberts down 1.27 ft, Lewisville down 10.68 - texoma only down less that .5 ft (Pool 615, current level 614.51)

David,

I think I know you from the Blue River forum and met you up there one day. My name is Scott Spradling.

Speaking of Sandies and Ray Roberts, I paddled up the Elm Fork of the Trinity on north side of Ray Roberts yesterday. Went about a mile. Caught a couple, but not a lot of action. A guy I talked to thought they were already way up the river - 5 miles or so. I'm not sure where to look for them right now.

I was below the Roberts dam yesterday. Nada. They are still coming up out of Lewisville on that section of the Trinity. On Grapevine, they are waay past 377 already. 3-4+ miles. It's 45 in Hurst and windy...still thinking about going out, but I don't think it's gonna make 61 that was forecast.

Hi Scott. The Blue didn't fish well for me this season...went 3 times and got only one fish...

I put in at 455 and go down about a mile then walk back to the truck. Went a couple weeks ago and caught one bass.

tomato, where do you put in at 455? I've been there once, and didn't notice any obvious ramps - maybe I just missed 'em. I think there were stairs going down from the first parking lot to the channel, but as I recall it was pretty steep.

That's it. The stairs is all that is there.

I put in at the 380 Greenbelt Thursday and fished north up Denton Creek and caught some crappie but no sandies.
