Catfishing: Beyond the Basics
Has anyone read or reviewed this book by Keith Sutton? Saw it listed in an article in my Texas Sportsman magazine. Was wondering before I spent $29.45 on it.

Filling the freezer with skillet fish is no problem. Just trying to get some ideas and tips to catch a "Monster" take a picture of his fat belly next to my fat belly and turn him loose for someone else to enjoy.

Save your money! If you cant learn how to catch a big one from these guys on here you might have a problem. Even with having all the info you need, you wont catch big ones everytime you go out, its still fishing. Put in the time to read as many posts as you can on here, put it all together when you go out and your chances will be good.

Save the $30 bucks on the book and get a buddy and book a trip with Doug "Tex" Elliot on Lavon. He can teach you what you need to know on Lavon, plus you'll get some eaters to boot. That's food for thought.

Best way to get that done is start fishing Tawokoni, there is probably more big fish in that lake than anywhere else in the country!!!

Keith Sutton is a talented writer and has forgotten more about catfishing than most people know. I have not seen this book but suspect that it is probably good based on articles I have seen Keith produce over the years.

The best approach to success in anything,, fishing included is to learn as much as you can from as many different sources as you can and apply them and see what works for you.

I found this on Google for $6, less than $10 after shipping.
